Travelling by road

For those travelling from the south, east or north, we recommend the A3 motorway and, from the west, the A52 coming from Mönchengladbach. Car parking spaces are available for visitors free of charge directly alongside the Stahl-Zentrum.

A3
Leave the A3 at the Mettmann exit in the direction of Düsseldorf and follow the B7 (Bergische Landstraße) which, after several kilometres, becomes the Ludenberger Straße. Leave the B7 at Stauffenplatz and follow Grafenberger Allee in the direction of the city centre ("Zentrum"). After roughly one kilometre turn right at McDonald's into Sohnstraße. After some 500 m you will find us (Stahl-Zentrum) on the right-hand side.

A52
If arriving via the left bank of the Rhine and the A52, follow the B7, driving over the Theodor-Heuss-Brücke (bridge) on the B1/B7/B8, and continue via Heinrichstraße (B7) in the direction of Grafenberg. After about one kilometre turn right into Graf-Recke-Straße and then left at the next set of traffic lights into Fritz-Wüst-Straße, which then becomes Sohnstraße. The Stahl-Zentrum is located on the left-hand side.

Travelling by air
Fly to Düsseldorf International Airport. We recommend taking a taxi from there directly to our building (roughly 15 minutes), or the urban railway system ("S-Bahn" service S7) to the central station. Then follow the instructions under “Travelling by rail”.
