Situation
• Performance and quality are dependent on charge material properties.
• Fluctuating charge material properties have, to date, been difficult to monitor adequately during operation.
• Performance deteriorates due to sub-optimum coordination of charge material properties and plant and equipment operation.

BFI solutions
• Analysis of the charge material properties (susceptibility to agglomeration/segregation, permeability, degree of homogenisation)
• Elaboration of process optimisation measures
• Development of on-line analysis methods

Our services and facilities
• Process development and applied technology
• Customer technical centre
• Charge material characterisation
• Permeability measurements
• On-site sampling/investigations
• Segregation analyses
