Unprocessed shredder light-density
fraction (SLF)

Processing of SLF

Metals separation

Metal scrap from lamp recycling

Situation
• Recycling has priority over disposal/deposition on landfill sites.
• Use of secondary raw materials reduces costs and conserves resources.
• Processing of waste materials into utilisable, quality-assured secondary
  raw materials is a necessity.

BFI solutions
• Processing of waste and residual matter for its utilisable energy
   and raw materials content
• Processing of shredder light-density fraction
• Production of self-reducing residual-material briquettes
• Use of secondary raw materials for melting processes

Our services and facilities
• Evaluation of possible uses in different branches of industry
• Development of industrial plant and equipment concepts
• Laboratory and customer technical centre analyses
• Customer technical centre for residual materials, including
   processing apparatus for on-site investigations
• Quality laboratory
