Utilisation of converter off-gas to fire
hot blast stoves

 Your objectives:

  • Optimum utilisation of process off-gas energy
  • Minimising of flare stack losses
  • Low-emission combustion of process off-gas
  • Substitution of process off-gas for natural gas

Our services:

  • Combustion technology for process gases (e.g. blast furnace top gas, converter off-gas, coke-oven gas) at experimental in-house facilities and at industrial plants
  • Fast and dynamic measurement of calorific value and air requirement by means of combustion gas measuring equipment specially for fluctuating process gas composition
  • Special-purpose measuring and control technology for the monitoring, distribution and combustion of process gases
  • Opening-up of new fields of use for process gases; examples: converter off-gas in hot blast stove units and at ladle drying stands.
  • Simulation of complex, interconnected process off-gas networks.
  • Optimisation of process gas recovery, distribution and utilisation by means of gas management systems
