Continuous furnace in operation

Computed temperature distribution
over cross section of a furnace and
charge material

Core temperature distribution computed for a
charge material, before and after optimisation

Situation
• The flow and temperature field in furnace chambers decisively influences
the quality of the charge material.
• Velocity measurements in furnaces are hardly possible, meaning
that the flow field in furnaces is largely unknown.

Our services
• Computation of the conditions in furnace chambers with the aid of
   numerical simulations
• Testing of possible improvement measures

Operational benefits
• Improvement of product quality
• Increase in productivity
• Conservation of energy
