Situation
• Furnace data inadequate or out-of-date
• In-process monitoring only of local temperature values in furnace chamber
• No in-process measurement of charge material temperature

Solution
• Preparation of energy and mass balances
• Measurement of all furnace parameters
• Analysis of combustion gas and off-gas
• Tests for industrial furnaces
• Measurement of charge material temperature distribution
• Checking of measuring chains
• Use of telemetry for real-time display of measurement data

Benefits
• Qualified personnel
• Use of up-to-date, high-tech measuring apparatus
• Energy savings through soaking time and/or zone temperature
  adjustment
• Neutral body for the evaluation of process data
• Drafting of inspection and test reports
• Preparation of documentation
