Situation
Oxygen activity is an important parameter for the assessment of melt quality
• Short-duration potentiometric measurement of oxygen activity by means of
  disposable immersion probes
• Still insufficient information about current oxygen activity in the melt

Solution
Continuous monitoring of oxygen activity by means of a new type of mobile electrochemical measuring technique
• Avoidance of electrode polarisation
• Immersion probes for multiple measurements and continuous use 
• Flexible adaptation of measurement cycles to metallurgical process control
  conditions
