Our approach
Precise, fail-safe methods of measurement and evaluation are needed for the continuous monitoring and analysis of metallurgical processes. The BFI department „Measuring techniques for metallurgical processes“ is dedicated to develop and to implement tailored solutions for industrial practice together with our customers.  Continuously operating sensor systems are striking and cost-efficient tools to further optimise metallurgical processes.

Our field of work
Main activities are development and application of new measuring techniques for continuous monitoring and control of liquid metal phases, i.e. throughout metallurgical processes including ironmaking, steelmaking, secondary metallurgy, casting and solidification.
