Example:
Decarburisation of low-alloy steels by means of ladle tank and re-circulation degassing 1)

Simulated variables:
- Decarburisation speed and carbon
  content
- Oxygen content including oxygen
  replenishment from the ladle slag
- Targeted equilibrium C content
- CO partial pressure and CO dilution
- Vessel pressure from off-gas awaiting
   extraction
- Additional pressure from delayed expansion of the gas bubbles ascending in the bath

Similar industrially-oriented models for:
- Refining high-chromium steels in vacuum
vessels 2) and in converters 3)
- Dehydration and denitrogenisation 4)
