Funded Research
The BFI provides support in applying for, preparing and accompanying publicly funded research projects in the process industry.
Situation:
Many companies in the process industry are very interested in participating in innovative, publicly funded research projects.
However, the application process, identifying suitable funding programmes, research funds and project partners, as well as communicating with the project sponsor and managing third-party funding, represent a complex challenge for many companies.
Solution:
For decades, the BFI has had proven core competence in successfully applying for and supporting publicly funded projects in the process industry. Through active participation in R&D committees, the BFI is a key contributor to the content of research programmes and thus represents the interests of research partners from the process industry.
