General assembly and mid-term in the HEU Project MaxH2DR

MaxH2DR provides missing knowledge and tools for hydrogen-enriched direct reduction in shaft furnaces. The determination of pellet properties under process conditions and the interaction of solid and gas flow in a physical demonstrator provide data for digital models, implemented in FEM, FVM or the key technology DEM-CFD. Their development, validation and use for the investigation of scale-up and process optimization and integration are important project goals.
