Green Steel for Europe

Initial situation:
The European Union set concrete targets for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in terms of its 2030 climate & energy framework and its 2050 long-term strategy for a climate neutrality. In order to achieve these goals, a transformation of iron and steel production towards CO2-lean or climate-neutral production technologies is necessary. Against this background, “Green Steel for Europe” supports the EU in achieving its climate and energy goals.
